the title says it all. i cant think of any particular theme i want to elaborate on for my video. i stayed up all last night playing around with things and watching youtube to get my brain perking. but it aint workin!
at least i got a little pinch done... i skimmed through the Ajax play and plucked out a particular scene i thought was interesting and moved the soldier-plot further...
theres this part, about 2/3 through the play, where ajax commits suicide. i C&P'd a pretty good part that leads up to the major point, like where he starts to get out his handy dandy sword, and to the point where the chorus mourns.
to me, i thought it was just vulnerability portrayed in the bluntest way. besides putting on a strongface at the front, sometimes the faces are too beleivable that we think soldiers are all tough and rough. but who's to say that they're not emotionally fragile? i know i would be. so this particular spot where ajax commits suicide is like the series finale to an awesome show. anything after that, like a spinoff, would be scoffed at! SCOFFED! because who can follow up on something as heroic as the original?
