on my way to the eye doctor (because i cant spell optometrist... did i get that?) and on the corner of deer park ave, AVAST! there's a lovely lady dressed as The Statue of Liberty. this just occured to me how much it made me shh-mile.
she was just standing there... waving at the passing cars. at the corner of a very busy street by this gas station. she held some brown book in her hand (great prop! :D) and smiled and waved in the sun as all these cars honked at her.
i dont think she was protesting anything. copper, perhaps? and there was no parade nearby. for a moment i did wonder why this one-woman party was standing in green garb, but then i decided to shun the thought. SHUN IT!
because nothing's worse than overanalyzing some spontaneously, funny event.
