The idea of Eco-Fashionshow Contest

1. Project Summary
Raise public awareness on environment and Climate Change by hosting the Eco-Fashionshow Contest, an alternative approach which people find fun and interesting compared to conventional ways such as street campaigns or product re-cycling movement, through collaboration between Korea and Japan.

2. Project Story & Plan
The show will be divided into 2 parts. The first part represents dark future of the world damaged by environmental diasters. Air, land and water are polluted so people have to wear a kind of very protective clothes such as putting a gas mask hat or anti-sun shirt. By showing those kinds of clothes, it will warn that something very serious would happen in the near future if we don't act on environment right now.
The second part represents what we should do to prevent the dark future from happening with fashion. Reform clothes, organic clothes or easy recycliable clothes will be shown on the runway.

To desgin and produce the clothes of the part 1 and 2, we will use a form of contest. We will recruit 20 talented designers from Korea and Japan and give them the concepts of the two parts of the show. Each designer is supposed to create one clothes for the part 1 and one clothes for the part 2.

At the show, we will have the clothes from the designers on the runway then the contest will be held promptly. The head of British Council, the chairman of Sogang university and other top executives of the organizations sponsoring the project will give awards to winning designers.

A great star in the fashion world has fallen.

Alexander Mcqueen (Lee Alexander Mcqueen Mar, 17, 1969 - Feb, 11, 2010), a great star in the fashion world has fallen.

I always had expected his design on the runway until I heard his death, but I can't see his design at the show. I can see Alexander Mcqueen's clothes, however, there will not be "Lee Alexander Mcqueen's " design, I mean his idea. I love his crazy and unique design, so I'm mad sad from his absence. Who will fill that emptiness ? and Who can fill that emptiness ?

Key word : Loneliness

Suddenly this word just came up from the bottom.

A glamorous modern society offers everything we want.

People can do whatever they do if they have money and time.

However, melancholiacs are increasing and bad news look endless.

The reason of this ironic situation is all 'lonlinenss'.

An empty mind requires something that fills up constantly and a slave roams like a zombie to find meaningless thing for him/her.

If we can warm their mind instead of stupid activities, the world will be turned out as a happier place.

The goal of my project is "How to erase a 'loneliness' and be together".

Before arranging concrete plans, I set the spirit for my project at large.

According to a survey, the average human's lifespan is around 70~80 years.

If I live up to the expectation, I've been living for one third of my life.

I know I am not too old but there are a few moments that I could see as turning points.

When I first stepped on a foreign territory..

When I worked at a summer camp for mental challenged people

When I planted trees in deserts of China

When I melted in the mountain posture of yoga

When I sat still in meditation

When I came up with the eco-fashion show idea

And,

When I entered our class

room a few days ago.

I know who I am right now is a product of who I've been so far.

And, I have found some keywords from the ocean of my past years.

So many things are burst out in my head, I couldn't decide what I put on in this post.

Let me introduce myself briefly.


I love traveling and I like friends.

How to refresh myself

When I have some agony or need a rest, I usually go to cafe or a quiet place others can't disturb me. I just sit on a nice sofa and relax. Writing down my thought is really helpful to shape up my idea. Sometimes, I can't figure out my feeling or problems, and then writing down what I think makes it clear.

Also, scribbling is good to make me feel better. Through scribble I can relax enough, express my feeling and thought too.

Having enough time to leave myself alone gives me some answer about what I concern or try to figure out.

That's all about ME.

Actually, there is nothing I can say "I'm the best!" or at least "I'm better!".

Just having a little bit confidence and interest in almost every field spports my character untill now.

It is really hard to find something that I stick to.

That's why people see me as a young and little girl.

I admit it is TRUE! but I'm okay about this.

Because so many chances are laid down in front of me, no matter how long, I will spend the time as possible as I can.

I am in love, and we are in love.
Love changes my world, and our world too.

For me, love is breathing with somebody, since love is like an air that we need
everytime, everymoment, everywhere.

Before I've got to know what is 'Love',
I think that love is like struggle and war with some boys to get something from each other.

But love makes us free and peaceful.
We don't need to fight to get love, and we don't need to struggle to know how much we are loved from the one another.


Because
love is like an air around us everytime.
We just feel it, and live with it.

At the moment when you feel the love,
You will find your self, and your world around you,
and you will realize that the world already has changed through love.

Who am I?

From when I was young, I liked to watch movies. It was not quiet good movies, and I usually selected only comedy genre. I wanted to have and watch artistic and experimental movies when I watched more and more movies. Somehow I felt boring to watch other people' masterpieces, and that made me passionated to learn about film making. But it was very tough work to make one movie because the director has to handle everything which is in film making process. Especially, I am not good at using computer programs, it is terrible. that is why I love to watch and make Mise-en Scene movies. I was director of photography in my friend's movie last year. I do not have mind to be the director, it was just my hobby and interest. But my hobby is facinating me more and more.

HOW DO I WANT TO CHAGE THE WORLD?(SeungHa)

I really want to communicate other people with telepathy which is a kind of non-verbal communication, especially, regardless of color, language, race, or nationality. I strongly believe that the technology which make people can communicate each other with telepathy will be developed. In addition, it will be possible to share concerns or deep thought with anyone at the same time without language. There are no barriers of time and space for communicating in current world because of the development of science and technology. As far as I concerned, the material to make possible telepathy communicating is light. Light is the fastest method to transmit something, actually I mean it can deliver our thought, idea to the opposite by transmitting telepathy. So far, it is only a dream, not real. However, I believe it will come true and it will change the world again.

Refreshing My Mind !

I have many ways to refresh my mind. This is just a one of my ways! It's changing my nail color and doing pedicure by myself!!!!XD. I've cared my nails and pedicure since i was middle school. I think i'm really good at this. Anyway, Today is the first time at Sogang Univ. so i changed my nail color and did pedicure to refresh my mind! WOOOO I love that shinny sky blue!! it fits really good in summerrrrr! and that HOT orange color makes me feel bright in summer!

This is who I am.

When I was young, I always liked playing outside all day, especially in playground. I always played with many boys. I was close to 'Tomboy', active girl. So, when I came back home at dinner, everytime I walked, sand and dust in my pants and socks dropped to the floor. I felt like walking on the sand. Also, I liked to exercise such as running. I've been a runner in school for 12years.

Since I was a middle school student, I've loved to take photographs even if I don't have nice, expensive camera. I think photographs can include many beautiful objects and thoughts. It can communicate with people. Photographs give their own meanings to people, people also accept the meaning and reinterpret photographs. sometimes, photographer can express who he or she is through photographs.

One of the best travel for me is Hukuoka in Japan,because when I was a high school student, I and my friend planned it by ourselves. Going abroad without adults made us so exciting. We prepared our trip well. So, we could enjoy our summer vacation.

Adverisement is one of the best interests. In very short moment, ad can notify what it trys to tell to people. It's very attractive point. Also, it can utilize many methods to express such as music, paintings, photographs, video, a piece of writing etc. So, I want to be a creative director in advertisement field. I will express my ideas and philosophy through ad by using various things.
