vitalism vs materialism

1/28/10
I think that materialism vs. vitalism is very important to me. To me, this means how much something means to you verses how many materials you have. I think my vitalism is education. I really want to graduate this year. I will be the first in my family to do so. It's vital for me to set my goals in an attainable reach, rather than just day dream of winning the lottery. If I don't reach my goals, I will probably end up running the streets of Spanish Harlem. Do or die. This is my motto.

One thing I regret in my college career is never taking advantage of the study abroad program. I love exploring new options, and different spaces in the world. I want to learn more about the people sharing this sphere with me. How do they walk and talk, brush their teeths in the morning? I want to learn every different smile people have. I want to look at the moon and sun from different angles, maybe I'll learn something vital for my soul that way.
