I watched the olympics last night and they were competing in a ski-race. An American beat an Italian by mere nanoseconds. As the camera panned in closer to the American, who was waiting for the Italian to finish, I saw the American beam with glory.
It's great, nevertheless, that an American got a great time. But what the American did after he found out he beat the Italian was unsportsmanlike.
He pointed and laughed. Just like a child who got high on superiority and wanted to rub it in his face. It was kind of rude and millions of others saw it too. It reminded me of the term "Dirty Americans," the way Americans appear in foreign places, like talking loudly or being obnoxious. That American skier was definitely the latter, to me anyways.
It's the olympics, sheesh! He should've kept his finger tucked and his mouth shut.
