• Since there is a high percentage rate of foreign born students on campus, have you been influenced by them in any way?

International Questions

• Introduction: Part 1

o Why did you decide to get your college degree in the United States and whose decision was it to do so?

o What are some of the requirements for studying in the United States?

o How does your country feel about students studying abroad?

o Was it hard to leave your family behind?

• Middle: Part 2

o What does a college degree mean to you?

o Why did you decide to study at Stony Brook University?

o What has your experience been like so far and has it been difficult for you to grow accustomed to the American culture?

o Do you feel that Stony Brook University does a good job of helping international students?

o How does the non-international student body treat you?

o What are some of the differences that you have noticed in the educational system of your home country and that of the United States?
