McQueen.

By Alexander McQueen, that dress is a symbol of the breakaway fashion has taken from the generic prettiness. Unexpected, rash and resilient, I want to know how it feels wearing that.
McQueen committed suicide a couple weeks ago in his London apartment and the cause was asphyxia.
That man is a visionary, in my opinion. He steered away from the bland skin-tone garments and droopy clothes that give the image of a prematurely sagging person. His clothes were never boring but always had a "special" factor. They challenged creativity almost unspeakably.
Ever seen the Lady Gaga video for "Bad Romance?" Remember those shoes she wears in the gold-sequined outfit? With her hair mimicking an iguana? Maybe not. But she wore McQueen's infamous "armadillo shoes". Apparently, they were 10 inches tall and roused quite a controversy. That's what fashion should be about. No more bland tasting clothes, but rather something with a spark that makes you look closer. Not too close though. You don't want to damage your eyes.
