after some anxiety about getting to the tank, michelle and i got there in time! if not, way too early. the space was amazing. it wasn't flashy, but it was subdued. and you can tell the focus was directed toward the art, and appearance was number 2.
though the stage wasn't as vertical as i imagined it. it was almost square-ish. but it was definitely more taller than a regular, cookie-cutter stage. which made it also more interesting.
and lauren and julien's performance was AMAZING! id give it a 530985439 out of 10. the videos rolling in the background went along with the performance real well. they didn't compete at all, but still offered some visual and moving imagery.
