The idea of Eco-Fashionshow Contest

1. Project Summary
Raise public awareness on environment and Climate Change by hosting the Eco-Fashionshow Contest, an alternative approach which people find fun and interesting compared to conventional ways such as street campaigns or product re-cycling movement, through collaboration between Korea and Japan.

2. Project Story & Plan
The show will be divided into 2 parts. The first part represents dark future of the world damaged by environmental diasters. Air, land and water are polluted so people have to wear a kind of very protective clothes such as putting a gas mask hat or anti-sun shirt. By showing those kinds of clothes, it will warn that something very serious would happen in the near future if we don't act on environment right now.
The second part represents what we should do to prevent the dark future from happening with fashion. Reform clothes, organic clothes or easy recycliable clothes will be shown on the runway.

To desgin and produce the clothes of the part 1 and 2, we will use a form of contest. We will recruit 20 talented designers from Korea and Japan and give them the concepts of the two parts of the show. Each designer is supposed to create one clothes for the part 1 and one clothes for the part 2.

At the show, we will have the clothes from the designers on the runway then the contest will be held promptly. The head of British Council, the chairman of Sogang university and other top executives of the organizations sponsoring the project will give awards to winning designers.
