Internship

I am in dire need of an internship before I graduate next year. If it is possible I hope to land one by the end of this semester. My goal is to intern over the summer at a marketing firm in order to fulfill the internship requirement that is listed for my major. In addition, I hope to secure an on campus internship this fall with the radio/television station. This would also fulfill my requirement for the media arts minor.

I think it is really important to have real world work experience before entering the job market. I am fully aware of the lack of jobs and internships over the past few years; however, I am going to remain optimistic about it. I have already started applying to a number of internships and will continue to do so until I land something. I think the key to landing a summer internship is by starting early, just like I did.
