Fulbright

Over the weekend I was looking at the Fulbright Award and wondering whether or not I should apply for it. I would love to go overseas for a semester to possibly study or take part in a project. Maybe I would go to Germany or Italy or possibly India where a lot of my friends are from. As I thought about the endless possibilities I also realized that I was getting ahead of myself. As much as I would love to study film in a foreign country I also have to take into consideration a number of issues. For starters, I may have to take a semester off or go during the summer. Neither situation would be possible for me because I am close to graduating and still need an internship, which I hope to have by this summer. In addition, there are also a number of safety concerns being an American in a foreign country. I would also have to take into consideration the fact that I would be traveling alone and I have yet to do so in the U.S. so I could image how scary it would be in another country. But I know I would have a good time once I grew accustomed to the new culture and it would be a great learning experience. Therefore, I have a big dilemma on my hands and need to figure out what I should do.
