I started doing my spring cleaning a little early this year (very early) and I happened to stumble upon my binder full of my old basketball cards. Going through each page brought back memories of my early childhood when I would go to the store with my mother to purchase packs of cards. I was always excited to add new cards to my collection and I would typically bring them in to school to show all of my friends.
When I was little those cards meant a lot to me. No amount of money in the world could have separated me from my collection. Now that I am older I feel differently. Many of the cards in my collection are worth quit a few dollars and I may consider selling them at the end of the semester. It surprises me that cardboard sells for so much money!
